for SEO, I recommend:
- Web Developer ( info in French): toolbar provides an incredible number of useful features to test the display of a web page. A must for SEO, with among others: disable CSS, disable cookies, disable JavaScript, display the ALT attribute instead of pictures, list the links on a page ... all that each time in a single click.
- User Agent Switcher ( info in French): change the channel identification browser, called User Agent. To surf while making you look like a robot (at least in terms of user agent), you simply set the right user agent ...
- Customize Google ( official website, English): customize the display of pages of Google, such as web results by adding the number of each position
- Google Toolbar : Displays PageRank of the page being viewed (for official version from Google)
- Gcache ( info in English): displays the cached page at Google
- Goldorank ( official website , French): lets you know how fast the positioning of a page for a given keyword in major search engines and directories.
- Google PageRank Status ( official website, English): displays the PageRank of the page being viewed
- Live HTTP Header ( official website, English) shows very detailed HTTP headers transmitted during your surfing. Allows for example to check if a redirection is of type 301 or 302.
- SearchStatus ( info in English): Shows the bottom right of the browser PageRank and Alexa ranking of the visited page (and other small tools)
- SEO for Firefox ( site Official , English): It adds to the results pages of Google and Yahoo a lot of information about each result: either directly as the value of PageRank, or indirectly as a link to a tool (pages indexed , backlinks ...).
- SEO Links ( official website, English): By passing the mouse over a link to an "A" as link text with "T", you obtiendez the number of backlinks from "A" on Google, MSN and Yahoo as well as the positioning of the page "A" matching "T" on Google , MSN and Yahoo
- SeoQuake ( details in English): displays the PageRank, the number of backlinks, number of pages listed for more engines, all on one line
- Wayback : can view the page as it is archived in the Wayback Machine (archive.org)
- KGen ( official website , French): displays the list of most frequent words in parsed page, each with the number of hits and an indicator of importance for SEO
For webmasters and web developers, these extensions should serve you:
- BBcode ( info in French): easier copying and pasting or simply adding text formatted with BBCode (for forums such as phpBB)
- Dom Inspector ( info in French): several tools to help find and fix errors in the HTML or XML page. DOM Inspector can also test CSS styles and edit the DOM tree (Document Object Model).
- Greasemonkey ( official website, English): To change the display of pages on which you surf the rotating javascript. Many Firefox extensions require that you first install Greasemonkey.
- Shazou ( details in English): Give thanks to Google maps locating a server, as well as the whois data.
